Agiou Nikolaou stairs connect upper and
lower town. They start in the lower town at the curve of Agiou Nikolaou as
a natural prolong of the street and go up to the fortress of Patras. After
dark, they are nicely illuminated and visible even from greater distance.
Of course I couldn’t miss this spot during my
“tripod” walk around the center. Today, the stairs seen from bottom, looking up.
Maybe I will come back to this spot soon, when some Christmas decorations will
appear in the city.
